Emerge New Mexico signature training program is seven-month, intensive program for Democratic self-identified women and non-binary people who are planning to run for public office. It is the only in-depth, seven-month, 70-hour, training program that inspires and prepares Democratic self identified women and non-binary candidates to run for pubic office and give them the tools to win.
Specifically, the signature program will equip you with the knowledge, resources, connections, and support you need to run for public office – and win. You will be exposed to a variety of campaign and election experts, meet an array of dynamic people who hold elected and appointed office, and be given opportunities to expand your political network. You become a part of a supportive network, including a national network of Emerge alums, Emerge board, and advisory council members.
Each year, Emerge New Mexico generally selects 25 women and non-binary people from across the state to participate in the program.
Program members meet one weekend a month for 7 months and receive comprehensive training on the following topics:
Emerge New Mexico trainers are a premier team of local and national campaign consultants, advisors, and staff. They have been involved in some of the most successful campaigns and initiatives in recent election cycles. They are experts in all aspects of campaigning, from field and fundraising, to communications, press management, and campaign messaging. They have won races from the city council to the governor’s mansion to the halls of Congress.
We need your participation to start a revolution! We are looking for women and non-binary people who are engaged in their communities and want to make a change. It doesn’t matter if you’re thinking of running for local school board or the U.S. Senate. We can help you get ready to run – and win!
